Chagwanda works with Radio Maria in Malawi as a journalist and producer. Her roles include gathering news, conducting interviews, producing radio programmes and documentaries.
She is also a contributor of Gender Links (GL) News Services on www.genderlinks.org . The service is an innovative multimedia project of Gender Links, a Southern African NGO that promotes gender equality in and through the media, to provide the media with fresh views on current affairs. The organization spearheads the SADC Protocol on Gender and Development, a sub-regional legal instrument that brings together African and global goals on gender equality and enhances these through targets and timeframes. She has written several articles regarding to the SADC protocol on Gender and Development thematic areas.
She holds a Diploma in Journalism. Currently she is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies at Mzuzu University in Malawi.
