During the 70s, land miners fought for a house while working for decades with close-to-slavery conditions after migrating to Mexico City looking for better opportunities. The neighborhood they built was called Palo Alto and was established as a corporate project.
While the Santa Fe zone grew and earned popularity, corporate and residence high-class buildings began to surround Palo Alto. Now residents face daily pressures to sell that have divided their community.
